Garden Party It Is

Well I now have a year to plan a small Garden/Patio Party for my sister in law. This Morning on Good Morning America Diane Sawyer gave some ideas for some cute table settings. I like the idea of choosing a color pallet then going with coordinating place mats and napkins instead of all matching.

Then on The View, Martha Stewart gave some crafty ideas for place cards, gifts and favors and cupcakes. I would love to give a link to her ideas, but I can't seem to find it on The View website. Probably just my being blind to the link.

Anyway I took it as a sign that I need to be taking notes so I started a paper file as well as a computer file of ideas. Planning parties makes my stomach ache so maybe if I start over a year in advance and pin down some ideas all will be well.

I think my fear is that people will compare it to other parties and say "Poor Girl she thinks she pulled it off but really she didn't"
