Crafts Show

Craft Shows..... to me this means booths of vendors who have products that they have created. From Soap, Candles, crochet, painted items to fudge.

So imagine my disgust when my husband went to a show today paid $5 to park and $10 to get in and to find that half the vendors had items that although looked very Americana but had big MADE IN CHINA tag on the back.

Don't get me wrong I have many many items that I love that were made in another country. That is not why I am irritated. It was a craft show. I expected as I said before to see hand made items. Creative items sometimes wacky items and althought there were a few of these booths (i.e roses made from wood shavings or candy corn dispensers made out of chicken feeders) In my opnion there was not enough to warrent the $$ we spent.

Just a rant.
