False Pretenses
So besides movie watching I read a book this weekend.
I love Catherine Coulter and at the library last week I found one of her earlier books that I had missed, "False Pretenses".
A classic pianist is accused of murdering her much older husband. When it looks like a conviction is eminent a stranger comes forward with a alibi. The heroine goes through a metamorphosis from a wife indebted to her husband to strong think for yourself business person who fights for her company and her life.
It is a good read. I definitely see how Ms Coulter's writing has matured into her FBI Thrillers.
I only hope I find another new read from her on my next trip to the library.
By the way remember to visit your local library and use some of its many resources.
