"Stranger Than Fiction"

We are so worn out on reruns and reality TV that yesterday I went out to rent a couple of DVDs. I came across "Stranger than Fiction" starring Will Ferrell with a supporting cast of some big names like Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman, Queen Latifah, and Emma Thompson. My first thought was actually an unselfish one, I hate comedies, but my husband loves them and I just knew anything with Will Ferrell would be hilarious. It wasn't, but it was wonderful just the same and my spouse praised my choice.

Will Ferrell plays Harold Crick an unwitting participant in a novel in progress. He soon learns he will be killed off at the end of the novel. It was a thoughtful film and well worth the money to rent. I actually hate we missed it in the theatre ( I don't say that much)
