Best Tourist Value Attraction in Florida

On Saturday we headed off to Mykka City, FL. The couple who was traveling with my in-laws had found out about Herrmann's Lippizan Stallions. My husband and I went there not really knowing what to expect. It was FREE, they only ask for donations, so that threw up a red flag for us. After living in Florida we couldn't imagine that anything that was FREE could bring that much entertainment, but boy were we WRONG. It was a beautiful Florida Spring day, sunny and breezy. We sat in our favorite lawn chairs and watched the Herrmann family showcase their horses. I grew up on a family farm and to hear their families stories and heritage seemed familiar to me. This will always be on our list for our vacationers to visit. After leaving the Herrmann's Farm we headed for Rosa Fiorelli Winery. Here we enjoyed a wine tasting. Although the shop was a bit crowded we all enjoyed ourselves and the wine.

Sunday was the beach tour day. We started at St. Petersburg Beach and headed north stopping at several beaches before reaching Clearwater Beach. At Clearwater we pulled out the beach chairs and sat for awhile enjoying the breeze, sand and sun. It was definitely crowded Sunday, but everyone was happy and basking in the joys of mother nature.

Well that ends the itnerary of our mini vacation. It was definitely hard to get back to the real world on Monday.
