TWELVE MILE LIMIT by Randy Wayne White
Recently I was loaned "Twelve Mile Limit" by my sister who lived on Sanibel for several years. She thought I would enjoy reading about some of the places we visited while she lived on the island. Unfortunately her description was a bit too indepth about the first 1/3 of the book. So it made reading that portion a bit predictable, but as Carl Hiaasen wrote about this novel
"A Doc Ford novel has more slick moves than a snake in the mangroves"
I started reading because I knew Sanibel, but kept reading because just when I thought I had it all figured out I realized I was wrong. Anyone who loves intrique and investigative reporting or simply loves to read about human dynamics will enjoy this novel.
As a side note...When you recommend a good read to your friends and family remember to be a bit vague when describing the book. Don't make your recommendation like your 6th Grade Book Report!!!
