Our first visitors
A week after move-in our first visitors arrive. My sister and her family came in for a long weekend and the start of my nephew's Spring Break.
What a creative sister I have, within 2 hours of her arrival she immediately had my house feeling warm and comfortable. It was so simple for her. I can assure you that I would have been in this house for years before I did half as much as she did in such a short time.
Sunday we went to the Airshow at MacDill Airforce Base. The day was a wonderful Spring Florida day with bright sun and breezy. We all had a wonderful time and couldn't believe that the event was free. Then came the exit from the parking area. It was the most unorganized fiasco that I have ever witnessed. It was so disorganized we thought surely it was a group of new recruits that had been left to attend to this portion of the show and they just didn't have the experience needed to plan for the mass departure. Then after returning home and speaking to friends and co-workers we found that the AirShow is always associated with horrible traffic and parking. Ultimately we all decided that the day was worth it even with the negative experience in the parking lot.
The boys went to Busch Gardens on Monday and reported back that it was the BEST Theme Park that they had every been too. Now they have done all the Disney's, Universal, Six Flags in 3 different cities so I consider them a pretty good judge of Theme Parks.
My sister and I went to the Old Time Pottery, Dockside and Target to purchase some other items for my new home.
They left today so the house is quiet, but now I can start on unpacking the garage.
The life of a moving wife!!!
