BAD DECISION

This wife made a dumb decision. At the time it was a relieving decision then it became a bad decision.

Recently I quit my job. For years I have lectured friends, nieces and nephews that you NEVER quit a job until you have a job, but did I practice what I preach?

A few days after I had put in my notice my husband's company announced they will be offering buyout packages. So my decision became an awful one. As we wait to see what will happen I am working temporary and searching for a new job closer to home.

It is a lesson I thought I learned in my 20's but apparently forgot on the Monday morning when I just took the leap and quit. I think my husband learned a lesson too. For months he kept telling me to quit and after I did it I don't think he meant it. His lesson is just don't tell your wife what she wants to hear.
